This is the privacy Statement of Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation and its underlying labels. In this statement we explain how we deal with the personal data we obtain in our contact via the website. Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation complies with the provisions of the AVG (general regulation on personal data).

Personal data collected

We do our utmost to protect your data. We need personal data to guarantee our services to you. Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation will process this personal data by using our services and/or because you have provided it to us.

Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation processes data for the following purposes:

  • Sending our newsletters;
  • Handling of your order and donations and inform you of the progress thereof;
  • Take measures to improve the service provision and provide information or offers.

Minors

Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation does not intend to collect data from persons under 18 years of age. We therefore do not offer any services to minors. We advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent the collection of information about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that without this permission we have collected personal data about a minor, please contact us. We will then remove this information.

Security

In data transfer, we use the so-called Secure Socket Layer (SSL) security system in connection with a 128/256-Bit encryption. This technique provides the highest level of security and is therefore also used by banks for data security during online banking. All payment methods offered by us are extensively secured by the above standard. That your data is sent encrypted you will see the symbol of a key or closed lock in the status bar of your browser.

Website visit details

We receive information that we obtain on the basis of your visit to our website. Examples include cookies. We use this information to get a better idea of our customers and to develop our services and website and to adapt them to personal preferences.

On the site we use Google Analytics to analyze the functioning of the site and to measure the efficiency of traffic sources. Google may disclose this information to third parties if required to do so by law, or to the extent that third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the analytics information obtained for other Google services. The information that Google collects is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not given.

Donations

The personal data of a donor are collected by completing the digital donation form. Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation only collects data required to make a donation. This information is in any case the name and e-mail address. Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation will not disclose donor information to third parties unless required to do so by law.

Newsletter

Periodically we send a digital newsletter to our customers by e-mail. In each newsletter A unsubscribe link is placed so that the recipient can report immediately. We use our customer base to send the mailing.

Save time data and access

As soon as you terminate the service with us, we will store some data on the basis of the statutory retention period. We remove data that is no longer needed. After the legal retention period we destroy all data.

You have the right to inspect the information we have about you after you have terminated the service with us. You can submit a request for inspection, correction or deletion via email or via the contact page. To ensure that the request for inspection has been made by you, please send a copy of your identity document to the request. We hereby request that you make your Passport and Citizen Service (BSN) black in this copy. This is to protect your privacy. Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.

Share with others

Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation provides only to third parties and only if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

View and modify data

You have the right to request access to and correction or deletion of your data. For our details, see the Contact page. In order to prevent misuse, we can ask you to identify yourself adequately. When it comes to inspecting personal data linked to a cookie, you must send a copy of the cookie in question. You can find it in your browser’s settings.

This privacy statement may be modified. Any changes will be posted on this page.
