With the realisation of the small-scale concert hall BIJ ANDREAS, a beautiful stage has been created to support young musicians, especially piano talents, to help them with their careers. Two pianos are available, a Steinway B and a Bösendorfer. There is also a Debain harmonium from 1859.
The building with all facilities is very suitable for organising concerts, master classes and exhibitions.
Through a donation from the inheritance of its name giver, the Robert F.W. Bruinsma Foundation was able to finance the initial investments as well as the activities in the first years. In time, however, the foundation will also have to obtain income from third parties to finance its events through fundraising. The foundation will need donations from visitors as well as from sponsors and donors.
The Naarden International Piano Festival
The Naarden International Piano Festival will be held for the first time in May 2019. A festival that is aimed at bringing together talented piano students from the conservatory master class programme attended by master pianists. We hope that we will be able to continue this festival every year to help young students on their way to success. That is why we ask for your support. There is an explanation on the PBO page to what extent your donation is deductible from your tax return.
Support the ‘Naarden International Piano Festival’.
